Owl Rice Cakes

Owl Rice Cakes make for a yummy combination of flavors and textures! Being cute and easy to make, we hope that whomever eats this snack gets a kick out of those faces, we know we did! Feel free to substitute or adjust any ingredients to your liking!

Ingredients and tools (2 owl rice cakes)

  1. Rice cakes of any flavor

  2. Sun butter or Peanut better (or any substitute)

  3. Apples

  4. Oat cereal

  5. Blueberries

  6. Whip cream or yogurt (or any substitute)

Directions:

  1. Spread sun butter on rice cakes.

  2. Cut apple slices from an apple (or use pre-cut apple slices) and place two slices on the buttered-rice cake. Make sure they are parallel to each other (save a couple slices for the end or as a victory snack). These will be the wings.

  3. Place oat cereal in the lower center of rice cake. This will be the owl’s tummy. Add whip cream dollops in the upper center. Afterwards, place two blueberries on those dollops. These will be the owl’s eyes.

  4. Using the apples slices, cut a triangle and place it between the blueberries and the cereal. This will be the owls beak. You have just made an Owl Rice Cake!
